Our Story

Dr. Frances Malone, PNP, PhD, founded Chartreuse Skincare in 2013.

She has 28 years of clinical practice as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, including the pediatric intensive care unit and 12 years in private practice. She is a basic science researcher: NIH-funded, working with immune cells, flow cytometry and transplant models, with published and presented work. She has been a pharmaceutical grant recipient and clinical faculty at the University of Washington.

She chooses every ingredient in Chartreuse for what it gives your skin.

Made slowly, by hand

Nothing here is made in advance. When your order comes in, Dr. Frances makes it by hand, in a small batch, on our land in Washington State, and ships it within 5 business days.

Cold-pressed oils and organic ingredients, with no fillers and no synthetic preservatives. Every ingredient is essential to the final product, and every one is listed on its product page.
